Apple crisp

·        4 apples

·        1 tsp of salt

·        1 tsp of cinnamon

·        2 tbsp. of maple syrup

·        1 cup of water

·        1 cup of brown sugar

·        3/4 cup of flour

·        1/4 cup of rolled oats

·        1/3 cup of margarine or butter

1.     Mix apples, salt, cinnamon and maple syrup in a large mixing bowl.

2.     In a separate bowl, mix together brown sugar, flour, rolled oats and margarine or butter to make the crumble topping.

3.     Pour apple mixture into a 9” square oven-safe dish and cover with crumble topping.

4.     Bake at 350 degrees (350F) for 45 minutes.
